What people are saying

  • A beautifully designed cafe, with lots of hanging plants and mirrors on the walls. Lots of raffia giving a cool summer vibe, despite the freezing temperatures outside. We ordered a pot of tea and hot chocolate which arrived promptly. The menu is a big choice of brunch meals available all day. We had a very long wait for our food (30+ mins) When the food did arrive it was delicious and fresh. We chose a breakfast burger ( delicious, especially the jam with it) severed with mini hash browns and a ham and cheese Toastie. Both meals were excellent and good value for the price. We enjoyed our brunch and will return.

  • I went here today as it’s just around the corner from me and I’ve heard great things and it was worth the hype. The food all came out together and was hot which I love. I got the new breakfast burger from the new menu and asked to put some bacon on the loaded fries and it was gorgeous and amazing value for money. Definitely be returning 🥰

  • Cheap parking end of the road £0.80 for 2hrs so no need to rush your food. Very well decorated smart cafe and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Larger than it would seem from outside. They were having a very busy moment when we visited so food was a tad slow out, and I expect the kitchen were a little overrun. As a result my poached eggs were sadly over and hash browns a tad under. This is why I gave 4 stars. The breaky was still very tasty though, and I expect normally they would nail it. I'll definitely return. The coffee was a good 4/5 too nice beans used. Good strong flat White. Maybe they should consider adding Yorkshire Tea to the menu instead of English breakfast.. Real tea drinkers will be reading this and nodding..

Give it a go.. 100 times better than the tax dodging chains. Support local business 👍☕

  • We enjoyed the hot honey brunch, which was nduja scrambled eggs with smoked spicy sausage with feta on toast. Really lovely and something a bit different. We also had the pistachio French toast. We would highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you for great friendly service and delicious food!

  • My friend, her daughter and I walked in here at 2:30 when closing at 3, to which we were going to go elsewhere but the girls made us feel welcome and told us we were fine to take a seat.

They provided a high chair and made more room for us to fit the high chair in.

We were served by a lovely, young lady who took our order. They arrived quickly and were lovely and presented very well.

I had the Seeded bagels with spiced scrambled egg, feta, cream cheese and jalapeños, I’m sure there was more but I can’t remember. Again presentation was superb and the food tasted just as good.

The girls stayed behind until we were done, without making us feel rushed.

I will definitely be visiting again.

Thank you so much for an amazing dining experience.

  • Visited for breakfast for the first time today. Really nice place with a cosy decor living room feel. Food was very nice and prices are really good compared to some other places. Staff are all friendly and look smart and presentable. The place is very clean and just great.

    Parking space

    Somewhat difficult to find parking

    Parking

Mostly parking permits required nearby. There are some bays opposite that don't need a permit, but generally get full. I parked near Mill Lane Hospital.

    Wheelchair accessibility

May be difficult through two narrow doors at the entrance.

  • Relaxed place with pleasant modern decore. Tea and frappe latte were great. The poached eggs on one of our brunches were a bit over and solid but a good hollandaise sauce, nice componants and lovely presentation of the eggs Royal and eggs Florentine meals made things enjoyable. Staff were stretched as they were short handed and the place was busy(nice to see) but they coped well. Definitely worth a visit
